Open Question: simple question about glucose tolerance?
I’m about to take the 3-hour Maternal Glucose Tolerance test, and for the next 3 days I’m on a 150g carb diet. Here’s the thing: the ‘diet’ they suggested is almost identical to what I am already eating (pasta and bread, fruits, etc)

My question is twofold
1) will the fact that my body already eats that kind of diet affect the results in any way?
2) did the fact that I was on that diet skew the results of the 1-hour test I did last week, thus requiring me to take the 3-hours test.

I’m not looking to alter the data here, just trying to understand the process. I want to be healthy and get to full term because I’m already high risk.

Background: I started pregnancy at 122lb (5′4″) and am now at 160lb. Vegetarian (+ fish 3 times a week) taking Prenate DHA, age 38, at 30 weeks gestation. Thanks all!!!
