Open Question: Mental illnesses regarding Chinese medical science?
I wondered today how western medicine attends just symptoms of diseases, but the “source” where this problem is coming stays in the dark (for example my uncle had really bad back pains and hi got strong muscle relaxants, when all hi needed after all was to lose weight and exercise more). As chinese/Vedic medicine goes to the root of the problem, how they deal with mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, concentration disorders and such? How are they treated in there and what causes these?
Resolved Question: PLEASE I NEED SOME ANSWERS because this is a serious question?
I just did a quick little research on racing thoughts & it said that only ppl with bipolar disorder & schizophrenia illness have racing thoughts is this true? Because last time I checked if you have anxiety or some type of anxiety disorder usually you worry about irrational things so isn’t that racing thoughts? I’m confused

Open Question: I really need your help! help me with my grammar?
In my opinion, a psychological disorder is a mental illness that can produce effects on a person’s actions, behavior, and opinions in his or her social life.
There are more than 70 psychological disorders, but if I choose the worst psychological disorder is depression or depressive disorder. Because in these days, it is a huge public-health problem, due to its affecting millions of people.
For example, personally I could see many people with depression and died, especially in the most developed countries. At the first it is just make a person has sadness, but it can increase the risks for developing coronary artery disease, HIV, asthma, and some other medical illnesses. Furthermore, it can increase the morbidity (illness and negative health effects) and mortality (death) from these conditions.
The second worst psychological disorders that I choose are mental illnesses that can cause the children’s development like anxiety disorders, disruptive behavior disorders, pervasive development disorders, eating disorders, elimination disorders, learning and communication disorders, affective (mood) disorders, schizophrenia …etc. Such as behavior and development disorders, elimination disorders, and learning and communication disorders, begin in childhood only, although they can continue into adulthood. It is not unusual for a child to have more than one disorder.
It is unfortunate that childhood offers no protection against mental illness and most of those illnesses are coming from causes of their background, they are triggered by psychological trauma, such as severe emotional, physical or sexual abuse; an important early loss, such as the loss of a parent; and neglect.
But the saddest thing is sometimes their parents can’t recognize their children’s psychological disorders, even it is essential to review the development of their children such behavior changes.
In summary, I think psychological disorders are curable but in case that if the patient really knows his or her causes of the mental illnesses that which has, and the strong desires to cured and be healthy psychologically.
