Voting Question: Why do my lungs or surrounding area ache?
I have a pain near or at my lungs and it aches but it comes and goes.. at first it occurred at the middle side of left lung and now its at the top right side right beside neck. This has been going on for about a month now and i do not have any other symptoms. I am currently sick but its just a common cold(runny nose, barely any coughing).
i have looked up symptoms for bronchitis, lung cancer and pneumonia and my symptoms do not match those because i do not have fevers and i do not feel weak or cough out anything unusual.
I am a 18 and a non smoker. my dad smokes though but never around me and also, he doesn’t do it often.

Dad barely smokes around me, i hardly ever see him smoking and he doesn’t do it a lot
the ache comes and goes.
Resolved Question: If my dad has lung cancer, and 5 years to live…what stage is that?
My dad wont tell anybody what is really wrong with him, but he goes to the doctor at least a couple times a week, always getting blood work and x-rays done. He told my mom that in 5 years she is going to have all the money he has on him for life insurance…and that the doctor told him if he didnt quit smoking, he had 3 months to live…he has since then quit smoking (its about 2 months now) and the doctor apparently gave him 5…he has symptoms of lung cancer and I used to always think he had it…he wheezes alot when he breathes, short of breath when even walking up the stairs, coughs all the time and has pleghm…not sure about blood in it or not I havent seen it and he hasnt mentioned it…but I am willing to put money on it that he has lung cancer, he has smoked for probably over 20 years. Does this sound like lung cancer to you? Its the first thing I thought of when I heard he had 3 months to live if he continued smoking…and if it does sound like lung cancer, what stage do you think he is in?
