Open Question: Anyone with sound knowledge of fitness?
Ok so I am going to ask about this in the gym also so if you think you can give me better/additional advice that would be great. I would like to ask if there is such a thing as too much exercise? Is there a certain point when you should stop? and how long did it take for you to build up your stamina? Just want some rough approximations. I seem to cross the threshold from elation into exhaustion pretty easily but I can still push myself no problem. My problem is not motivation but maybe overmotivation. I seem to just go into a trance and pound away on the treadmill. No pain, nothing. Is this bad for me? I feel like i’m not exhausted but i’m actually past that into some kind of robot mode or something?!! that sounds ridiculous i know. I want to be really fit but not at the expense of my health. Trouble is I don’t know how to do it sensibly. Should I stop when I reach the point of elation? I don’t want to become lax either tho. hmm…..
