Open Question: Is there anything that can help him?
My wife’s uncle has bladder cancer. Right now they do not want to begin treatment until blood stops coming out with his urine. When treatment begins he will have six sessions.

What he tells me of it has me scared for him, and it is constantly on our minds…

He will consume some type of concoction which includes some type of chemotherapy mixture and will have to hold it for two hours. After two hours he could urinate. But he believes that when it comes out it will burn like something crazy.

I don’t know if you ever experienced anything that horrible, I cannot imagine how awful that could be. Is there anything that can be done so that it will not hurt?

Please some advice would be helpful, especially if you have gone through it or know somebody that has or are a doctor or nurse.

Blessings to all!

Resolved Question: If you are over 40 years of age would you agree this is the BEST gift you can give to your wife & children?
I’m NOT kidding….if you are over 40 years old get your prostrate checked ASAP!

I know, I know….like most men we hate this or even the thought of this
but the alternative is so painful and the result can be your very life.

Each year around 45,000 men DIE….that works out to every 3 minutes a man is diagnosed with prostrate cancer.

LISTEN………..

OVER 50% aged 50 and over have an enlarged prostrate gland…the condition is called Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy or BPH. At age 60 that percentage increases to 75% and by age 80 it’s 90%.

ONLY 50% of men with BPH have symptoms.

Signs:

-Waking up at night to pee

-Incontinence, which urination can’t be controlled

-A feeling that bladder is Full even after urination

-Weak Urine Stream

-Urgency-the inabilty to “hold it”

-Hesitancy (urinary difficulty)

I know we as men don’t like the idea….it make us feel less than a man to have someone check that area……BUT for the few seconds it takes it so beats the hell out of DEATH!

I am pleading with you IF not begging you….PLEASE save your own life for the sake of your children, grandchildren, wife and loved one…do it FOR THEM.

We as men are always so BIG to say we’ll walk through hell for our loved one………….I’m NOT asking for that…only a few seconds of discomfort.

God only made ONE of you and we need you!!!

Will you GO????
Kayla…..LOL, your so right. My wife is always telling me to cut down my LONG rants..

so, sorry

Open Question: Sudden & Constant urge to urinate even though I already did less then 15min earlier?
My Info:
23yr Old White Male
No known medical problems (diabetes, cancer, allergies etc..)
5′10″ 165lbs. And Im Fairly active, not a couch potato but im no athlete either.

I will drink a 32oz powerade, or equal amount of water over the course of my break (1hour) I will go to the restroom at the end of my break and urinate a normal amount, not more or less then I normally would but 2-3 times a week within 15-20 minutes after I have already urinated ill have the sudden urge to go and it will actually hurt to try and hold it for more then 5-10Min’s after the urge hits. Ill go to the restroom and ill urinate a normal amount. On the extreme side this will last for an hour and a half and within that time I will go to the bathroom 3-6 times even though I have not had anything else to drink. And sometimes ill have such an extreme urge to go but it will take almost a minute for the urine to start flowing. Its gotten to the point where I refuse to drink at work even milk with my cereal because I can afford to keep walking away from my job to releave myself and now im getting concerned that maybe there is actually something wrong, maybe my bladder is working too much or its not as large and cant hold as much as a normal person..

But it happens at random not just at work. I can drink 16oz at home and have the urge to go to the restroom 2-3 times before it stops. Other days I can drink the same amount and not have these urges at all.

Other Info.
I dont drink while im working only when on break, food industry cant have food/drink at my work station.
Its 46* constant at my work.

Thanks.
